PSU runs a clinic each academic quarter. Enrollment only prior to beginning of
quarter. Sliding Scale Fee Structure: Initial fee: $190.00 for first quarter
includes testing. Fee each quarter thereafter $160.00. Fee for Speech, Language
and Aural Rehabilitation is $60.00. Child or adult seen 2-3 times per week by
student under direct supervision of clinical faculty. Schedule of visits to be
arranged between student, child/adult, and faculty supervisor. Clinic clients
come from all over the state, but the Portland Metro area is the location of
most consumers of this service. Service is offered in the following clinics:
Audiology Clinic: Assessment, aids, hearing conservation workshops
Rehabilitative Audiology Clinics: Evaluation and treatment for hearing loss.
Remediation includes speech, language, voice, auditory training, speech-reading,
counseling, and CAPD.
Articulation and Language Clinic: Evaluation and treatment of articulation and
language deficits
Urban Language Clinic: A special enrichment program for Portland Metropolitan
selected agencies.
Fluency/Stuttering Clinic: Evaluation and treatment for the non-fluent.
Voice Clinic: Voice Disorders evaluation and treatment.
Neurological Clinic: Evaluation and treatment for individuals with stroke,
Parkinson's and Traumatic Brain Injury.
